Resolut Way

The Resolut Way is Resolut’s management philosophy – our core principles for teamwork within the company, collaboration with customers and partners, and the way we manage processes and solve problems. We have taken the Toyota model as our starting point.

The principles guide the way we at Resolut act in various situations. With the close scrutiny that we subject ourselves to comes the insight that we do not always follows these principles down to the letter. But I want you to know that we always try, because we have realised how valuable these principles are for us in our business, for the teamwork within the company and with customers and suppliers.

Customers

Principle 1: It must be easy to work with us and our products.

Principle 2: We will always respond quickly to customers who have questions or require help.

Principle 3: Dare to place demands on the customer. It is in their interest.

Principle 4: Minimise time not spent on customers.

Principle 5: We deliver a supplier-independent solution to the customer.

Processes

Principle 6: Create products with strong customer value in development processes that are fast and limited in their use of resources.

Principle 7: Spread out the workload.

Principle 8: Create continuous process flows that bring problems to the surface.

Principle 9: Create a corporate culture that allows halts in production in order to solve problems and to enable things to be done correctly from the start.

Principle 10: Organise the business visually so that no problems can be concealed.

Principle 11: Be guided by demand, avoid overproduction.

Principle 12: Standardised ways of working are the bedrock of continuous improvement and of employee participation.

Staff and partners

Principle 13: Develop managers with a thorough knowledge of the company’s purpose and business, who embody its philosophy and can teach others.

Principle 14: Develop exceptional staff and teams who apply the company’s philosophy.

Principle 15: Respect the company’s partners and suppliers by setting challenging targets and helping them to improve.

Problem-solving

Principle 16: Go and see with your own eyes in order to fully understand the real situation.

Principle 17: Take decisions slowly and by consensus, implement them quickly.

Principle 18: Create an organisation that tirelessly learns through regular evaluations, self-criticism, reflection and continuous improvement.

General

Principle 19: Base decisions on long-term thinking, even if this is at the cost of short-term financial targets.
